New Automobile Law: Worries Among Bus Drivers And Conductors
The Automobile Law was enacted by Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and it takes effect starting September 7.
According to the new law, at least 30,000 kyat fine has to pay by the drivers and conductors if they break the traffic rules. Previously, they have to pay only 1500 kyats penalty for the same case.

Graduation and Certificate handover ceremony for first Batch students (2014 October – June) and welcoming of 2nd Batch students of Kaw Hmu Hospitality and Catering Training Academy (HCTA) was held on 23.8.2015, Sunday at the school venue from 9:30Am to 12:00 noon. DKKF Chairperson Daw Aung San Suu Kyi attended the ceremony; giving speech, offering appreciation cards to those who helped the school and also giving graduation certificates to each student. Afterwards, guests were entertained by the freshly graduate students with stage performance, musical dance and special song which was especially composed by the students in deep appreciation to Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. Guests were also offered food prepared by ongoing 2nd batch students. After the ceremony, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi privately met all 1st batch students and giving encourage words; to do best in their assigned work with self confidence to achieve higher position and to always help others and community as much as they can as a person’s value is determined on how much he did for others and not to himself.
